OSPF Cost, Bandwidth Restriction on SVI possibility?

The provider is giving L2 connectivity. At head-office we have redundant connection and on branch we have 2 VLAN for each branch. So each link from ISP to head office is binded with these branch VLAN....

1- We want to configure OSPF and OSPF cost on SVI? Is it possible?

2- We want to do bandwidth restriction for IP Cameras traffic , how can i achieve it on SVI??, it would be highly appreciated if any simple rough template

can be shared

Hello Omair,

1) yes you can using ip ospf cost xx in SVI interface config mode

2)

often IP Cameras default to the highest BW resolution.

I would ask to people managing them to configure a less consuming resolution that still allows to see what happens.

then you can configure policing at the SVI level using:

mls qos vlan-based on physical ports
