OSPF Passive vlan fix?

We have two core switches with a layer 2 connection back to our Datacenter that are set up with OSPF to allow for automatic failover in the event that one of our ISPs goes downThe office will failover to the backup ISP.  There is an exstart status with our public wireless vlan interface and I want to make that interface passive.  I want to change the configuration of the Router OSPF 1 config to include a passive interface for that vlan.  I believe all I need to do is enter the " passive interface vlan 101", correct?

Also, when I make this change will it cause the OSPF instance to go down and come back up?  I just need to know if there will be any interuption to service or if there is a risk of extended down time.

"passive interface vlan 101" is the command you need.

If the interface is already in exstart status, then there should not be any interruption to services.

setting vlan101 as passive will not cause complete OSPF instance to go down. It will just affect that interface only and router will stop sending multicast hello out of that interface.
