ospf prefered route

I have ospf running on two interfaces on a router.  One Interface is 10G and the other is 1G.  Most of the traffic is going through the 1G but i'd prefer it to go to 10G.  The cost is obviously the same.  What is the best way to prefer 10G and use 1G in the event of failure basically.  I've done it before just don't remember what i did.  BTW - IOS-XR

Hello,

you could simply use the 'cost' interface command. If you set the cost of the 10G interface to e.g. 10, and the cost of the 1GB interface to e.g. 100, OSPF will prefer the 10G interface.
