We were having some issues with massive amounts of dropped packets showing in the OQD column of the "show int summary" command output. The interface was part of a port-channel, along with another port, but only this interface was showing these drops. I moved the config to a different port, and this new port is not experiencing the issue. However, and even though I administratively shut down the old interface, cleared its configuration, and cleared its counters, I still see packets being dropped in the output queue. How is this possible? Faulty hardware?
