We have an existing vlan of 10.10.0.0 /16 with a vlan interface of 10.10.0.1
Our provider has issued us an IP of 10.10.x.x /30 for a SIP trunk. Lets say it is 10.10.15.45. Our firewall's internal IP is 10.1.96.1.
Would adding a route of "ip route 10.10.15.45 255.255.255.255 10.1.96.1" direct SIP traffic to the trunk correctly?

If the SIP trunk is connecting to your internal vlan which is 10.10.0.0/16 than you don't need any static route as everything falls under 10.10.0.0/16 network.
Does the provider router directly connected to your access switch or you have you own voice gateway and that connects to the provider's router?

Hi,
Is the provider connectivity coming directly on firewall or on any router. If I understand your setup..
Internal VLAN 10.10.0.0/16 -->(10.1.96.1)Firewall--> Router or not --> Service Provider.
As suggested by Reza, if the SIP trunk traffic is connecting internal LAN , you don't want any route .If it require in outside towards router then you may put a static route for that destination towards provider.
Hope it Helps..
