Packet Capture Cisco 2960

Dear Cisco Community, 

Am facing technical difficulties while configure Physical Interface on my firewall [non-cisco], the firewall interface is up but am unable to ping/not passing any traffic via this interface, the subjected firewall interface basically connected to Cisco 2960 switch where configured vLAN, for the same firewall interface vLAN, 

Am able to ping all other hosts in same vLAN except the interface of IP of firewall. the switch is allowed trunk for all vlan's

I would to have packet capture on Cisco 2960 switch, i have tried to have it, facing some difficulties, Can anyone support to me to have capture on Cisco 2960.

Hi there,

The only option you have or packet capture on a 2960 will be configuration of a SPAN port, sending frames to an external collected (read 'laptop with tcpdump/ wireshark'.):
