Hi, I'm new to PT and trying to follow a tutorial on how to assign an IP to a router interface. For some reason, when i try to enter the port number to try and do this, i'm just thrown back into enable mode rather than conf-if mode. Is there something I'm doing wrong here. Below shows my process.
Router>enable
Router#configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
Router(config)#interface gigabitEthernet 0/0/0
Router#
%SYS-5-CONFIG_I: Configured from console by console
Any help is much appreciated!

Maybe it is a PT bug.
What router are you using?
With this info I will check on my PC.

It's an extremely basic setup. Its just a 4321 Router connected to a 3650 Multilayer switch. I've attached a screenshot to illustrate the setup.
I thought it may also be a bug. I've tried re-starting PT and using different routers and switches, however I still have the same issue.
Thanks for your help

Hello,
it works in version 7.3.0. Try and 'no shut' the interface first, before assigning the IP address...

It must be a PT bug.
I suggest you uninstall the program and reinstall it.
I have recreated the topology and it works for me.
