We try to deploy PC image to computers over the LAN. When the desktop is on the same VLAN (VLAN 100) as the servers there is no issue. When the desktop is on a different VLAN (101) which can reach the image servers no problem but it keep failing. We also tried to add the server IPs as ip helper on the VLAN 101 but still failed. We have Nexus 9300 as the core and Catalys 3850 as the access.
When we do it after hours, it looks like it works better. We have cisco 3850 as the access and nexus 9318 as the core switch. The traffic utilization for the links is not less than 50%.
In the original post we are told that it does not work when the desktop is in vlan 101. In the recent post we are told that it works better when it is done after hours. So it does work after hours?
