Ping Drops in directly connected routers

Two routers 2821 with one HWIC-1FE card are directly connected (through HWIC-1FE)

When i ping point-point then i get many drops.

I'm using cross cable

Duplex & Speed set to auto

Please help.

Perhaps if we had more information we might be able to provide better answers. Could you post the output of show interface and of show ip route from both of the routers?
