Pinging Core SW 4507R+E from direct connected device with time out

Hi there

I'm facing a critical problem with my cisco core switch, the ping is timed out for 4 or 5 times causes the whole network to freeze, which impacting the connected laptops or pcs to hang for some seconds, 

the show version output is:

Hi,

The CPU looks okay. What is IP 10.1.1.1? 

Can you post the output of "sh run"

Also, are you pinging from a PC? What are the source and destination IPs?

I'm pinging from pc direct connected the core switch, the ping suddenly drops for 5 or 6 replies, in the meantime, the whole company network stuck,

show interface commands for the uplinks connected to the edge switches is attached 

Looking at "sh run" you posted, I see this

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.1.1.0

The target IP needs to be a host address e.g, 

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.1.1.2 

What is the core switch is pointing to or uplink to (north bound)?

the ip route cammand is targeting to the next hope which is the firewall to access internet 

But according to this statement, 10.1.1.0 is the subnet and not the specific host address (firewall in your case).

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.1.1.0

my NW subnet is /21, so the IP 10.1.1.0 is valid IP
