platform assert failure causes crash

Cisco switch WS-3750X-24 crashed.

Running SW Version 15.0(2)SE1.

Fault reported:

This appears to be similar to: Bug CSCtw99500 - platform assert failure: hwidb->snmp_if_index == ifIndex causes crash

However, the bug description states this should be fixed in the SW Version being run.

Please provide additional information that would explain the reason for the crash observed on this switch.

Early 15.0(2)SE software, particularly SE1, is extremely buggy.  Downgrade to 12.2(55)SE10 if there are no special features required.  Otherwise, try 15.0(2)SE8.
