Please share upgrading procedure C3850 version 16.6.4 to 16.9.1

  I would like to upgrade IOS-XE version 16.6.4 to 16.9.1. I'm not sure between upgrade version I'm must be to upgrade ROMMON version ? And I'm not find procedure in download software page.

16.9.1?  Are you definitely sure you want to go to 16.9.1?

No, ROMMON upgade will be upgraded automatically.

The complete procedure to perform an Install Mode upgrade can be found in the Release Notes.

Hi Anycast,

If you are not sure about version, just download recommanded(marked with star) version form cisco site for your switch.

And make sure if you are using switch for stacking or standalone? If you are willing to use with stacking, you have to boot switch int INSTALL MODE.

Although install mode is recommanded over bundle mode.

To boot in install mode, uncompress the image from flash and set boot to packages.conf file. In next boot, your switch will be converted to install mode.

What is the exact model of the stack you want to load 16.9.1?
