Hi,
I have a POE issue not working. I see this message in the log before my AP disassociated.
"Nov 4 05:19:48: %HARDWARE-3-MCU_I2C_READ_ERROR: I2C read failed in MCU and attached devices (e.g. Temperature Sensor) can't be read."
Here is the output of "show power inline"

As you can see, for interface Gi1/0/22-24, the device shown there are IEEE PD. After I shut and no shut the port, switch didn't detect any device. Then I connect the 3 APs to secondary switch for temporary.
How to solve this?

Syafiq

Have you tried a different port?
Tried plugging the AP straight into the switch with a short patch cable to rule out a structured cable issue?
Tried rebooting the switch?

Have you tried a different port?
---> Yes
Tried plugging the AP straight into the switch with a short patch cable to rule out a structured cable issue?
---> Yes, I plug AP to the switch directly but not powered up. Then I connect to secondary switch, all three APs up.
Tried rebooting the switch?
---> Not yet. I will reboot this Saturday after IOS upgrade.
If the problem not resolve after reboot and upgrade, do I need to replace the switch?
Thanks,
Syafiq

The problem solved by power cycle the switch. Reload command didn't solve it.

Hi,
Do the issue happen again after you power cycle this switch?
Best Regards,
Jackson

Hi Jackson,
Since I'm not the resident engineer for that customer since 2015, I dont know whether the issue occurs again. But as for last time, power cycle the switch solved the problem.
