I have a 2951 router that I have installed a SM-X-ES3D-48-P Etherswitch into.
I cannot figure what I am missing to get the POE on the switch module to work.
Here is the "sh power inline" from the router:
router#sh power inline
PowerSupply SlotNum. Maximum Allocated Status
----------- -------- ------- --------- ------
INT-PS 0 0.000 0.000 PS ABSENT
Interface Config Device Powered PowerAllocated
--------- ------ ------ ------- --------------
Gi2/0 auto Unknown Off 0.000 Watts
Ethernet Switch Network Modules with PoE support should be reloaded to function
properly upon PoE Power Supply OIR insertion/removal.

poe is usually on by default have you connected a phone to it to check ? or tried power inline under the interface if not
There looks to be a specific power supply required as well PWR-2921-51-POE
