POE problem at 4506 switch

Hi Everybody,

I have a major problem in our network which appears very frequently. We have around 10 4506 switch with SUP-V and three module of 48 Ports 10/100/1000 ethernet with Power on Ethernet(POE) feature support.

The problem is that some of the ports of these modules stops detecting IP phones and don't provide POE to IP phones 7960.

Till date, the only solution is to replace the module which is full of panic in running environment.

We have already upgraded the IOS to 12.2(25)EW.

If anyone faced this problem and found a permanent fix, please let me know.

That IOS is bugged - CSCsj47170. show power inline - you'll see that the 41s and 60s are pulling megga wats. Upgrade to 12.2(37)SG.
