Port-channel b/w Nexus5k and 9300 will not come up

hi Experts,

 

one end is N5K-C5672UP-16G with version 7.3(0)N1 and the other end is C9300-48T with Version 17.6.4

I am trying to create portchannel between the devices which are like less than 1km far away. and separated via dark fiber.

On 9300 end, i connected SFP-10GBase-LR

When i connect the SFP, i get a message saying "%ETHPORT-5-IF_HARDWARE: Interface Ethernet1/2, hardware type changed to No-Transceiver"

When i use the SFP using two ports on the same device to test if the SFPs are working fine, then the ports come up. but when i try to connect b/w two buildings the ports do not come up.

There are two device connected via dard fiber. WS-C3650-48TD and C9300-48T using 1000BaseLX and the connection is up via the same dark fiber.

 

First i though the cable might be faulty, so i used the cable from the link which is working fine, but still the link will not come up.

Please suggest what can be done to bring the link up. and specially "Interface Ethernet1/2, hardware type changed to No-Transceiver"

    - It remains a bit doubtful;  you should always have a fiber link quality test on the dark fiber link and check if
      it is conformal with specs. That test should be done with fiber testing equipment; not with the switches.

There are many reason 

1-First try enable FEC in both sides

2- do show port-channel summary<<- check if port is suspended 

3- do show spanning tree <<- check if port is BLK or error

i am using 10G on both sides, and command to enable FEC is not coming ..

Can we start with the basics first:  Remove the etherchannel config.

With the etherchannel config removed, are each of the individual links up?
