Hello,
What are the best practices in order to update an operational port channel on Cisco IOS switches without impacting the service?
To add interface, to add vlan, to remove vlan.

- This may contradict your question, if the particular vlan was being used on the port-channel, for the other elements there should be no impact.

Hello @abimadaro4462 ,
for an already in place and working port-channel configuration changes have to be performed at the interface port-channel level only. Attempting to make changes to a member link would cause issues including inconsistent STP.
The only exception to this rule is when you want to add a member link:
the new member link before addition to the bundle must be configured with the exact same list of permitted VLANs.
If using a control protocol like LACP or PAGP that is to be preferred the two ends of the new link should be prepared with the appropriate configuration placed in shutdown cabled to each other and then unshut on both ends.
Hope to help
