Port channels

can someone plz explain what port channels are and what is the purpose of doing it....can if possible how you can configure it ....i tried to see doc on cisco website but i recon didnt get what i was looking for

Hi there

In a nutshell, port channel is a result of port aggregation. meaning you can bundle up 2 or more ports and make it work as one port.

the benefits are aggregated bandwidth as well as redundancy.
