Hi All, I am having some issues with a connection between my Cisco 3560CX Switch and a Hirschman Spider Hub and just need some steps on how to troubleshoot further. the port appears to be flapping consistently but intermittently (maybe a couple times a week at various times).
Ive had the cabling replaced between the devices with no improvement. Port config is pasted below and I have included a Diagram to show the complete setup which may help paint the picture. there is several industrial devices such as PLC's connected to the Spider Hub.
I also see quite a bit of broadcast traffic and unsure how much of a concern it is?
Can I do some additional debugging or some kinda of capture to help troubleshoot why the port and or hub is going down? I am planning on swapping the Hub out with a brand new one for process of elimination but don't believe its the problem at this stage.
cisco port config:
interface GigabitEthernet1/0/1
switchport access vlan 40
switchport mode access
ip device tracking maximum 0
speed 100
no keepalive
spanning-tree bpduguard disable
attached:
-Basic Network diagram
-PRG of the broadcast traffic

as I know the SW to SW is full duplex
SW to hub must be half duplex
