Forgive if i am asking a dump question, a link-flap errordisable flap value is 5 flaps in 10 seconds will error-disable a port. I am seeing a port put in to errordisable in less than 5 flaps in about 8 seconds!
Does anyone know what states a port goes in to when it detect a flap? for example when a device connected to the switch reboot, the switch detect a flap right, and "debugging interface state" provides some indication what states the port goes through. if its more than 5 state or flap in 10 seconds, then errordisable!. what i am trying to figure out is, does the 5 flap value related to state of the port when recovery from a flap ?
