Port Passthrough

Hello everyone!

I have a quick question. 

Is it possible to let a Catalyst 2960X-48LPS-L  pass through an Ethernet port to the rear as if it were a simple patch panel?  I want to set up a test environment that is disconnected from the production network. I am not allowed to use VLANs or any other network structure changes, but I need to get from the server room to a workstation.

Hi @mikajahns ,

With the condition of not touching the existing vlan, you could configure another vlan and assign it to the two implicit ports. In this way, the packets will only propagate between these two ports.
