Hi,

A small question for cisco experts, but not totaly clear for me.

When I type the following command

Catalyst4507#sh qos int gigabitEthernet 4/23

QoS is disabled globally

Port QoS is enabled

Administrative Port Trust State: 'untrusted'

Operational Port Trust State: 'dscp'

Trust device: none

Default DSCP: 0 Default CoS: 0

Appliance trust: none

Tx-Queue   Bandwidth   ShapeRate   Priority   QueueSize

             (bps)       (bps)                (packets)

  1        31250000    disabled    N/A        292

  2        31250000    disabled    N/A        292

  3        31250000    disabled    normal     292

  4        31250000    disabled    N/A        292

Catalyst4507#sh qos

QoS is disabled globally

IP header DSCP rewrite is enabled

So qos is disabled on my switch, but why is my port then handeling QOS markings??

Does it have something to do with the "Port QoS is enabled" and if so how can I disable this?

Any help much appreciated.

Kind regards

St
