I've got a 2911 running IOS 15.0. It has a 9 port EtherSwitch module HWIC-D-9ESW. I'm attempting to do port security to lock a port down to a list of 4 MAC addresses. It seems the recommended way of doing this is by using 'mac-address-table secure'. The problem with this is those MACs are then bound to the specific port and will not work on any other port in the module.
Does anyone know of a workaround to this? Will a MAC access list applied inbound on the port work?
