Can one MAC address be used for two switch ports with port security enabled?
We have a device with active/backup LAN ports that share the same MAC address.
Is there a way to enable port security that can allow the same MAC address on two ports?
Note only one of the device's LAN ports will be active at a time.

Hello

Port sec can limit against how many devices will be allowed to use that interface but having duplicate mac- address isnt quite the same thing.
Curious what device has the same mac-address using two different interfaces - not sure i understand? -
Are you using flex links for primary/standby interfaces?

It's an Avaya G430 Gateway. It has two LAN ports that operate as active/backup. They share the same MAC address.
