Port Security recovery

I am in the process of adding a automatic reset to our port security here on our campus. I believe the command I want to run is

errdisabled recover cause psecure-violation

errdisbaled recovery interval <time in seconds>

The issue I am running into is getting a good amount of time between being disabled and recovering. I was thinking somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes but I wanted to see what the general idea is.

Any advice would be great!

You're going to get several different answers for this question. It really depends on why port security is being configured. Personally, I would set it for 5 minutes to be on the safe side if it's just for regular users.
