I have a VM connected on a single port of a switch and is configured with multiple servers under the same subnet x.x.25.0/24

Strange thing is that one of the VM intermittently goes down and is unable to reach its gateway. But the rest is still okay and is able to ping vice versa.
Port configuration on the switch
interface GigabitEthernet1/0/15
switchport access vlan 250
switchport mode access
If this is being blocked by STP, the whole port should be down right? But its not, only a specific MAC cannot be ping and is unable to ping its gateway.
Does anyone have any advice? thank you
