Possible to force restart froma standby cold 4500e

Hi there

Is it possible to force a restart to the supervisors  while connected to the standby cold sup?

I am connected by console cable, and its at a second location. 

I updated the IOS and retarted everything and now the sup that i was conencted too has turned into the standby sup.

i need to force the 1st sup to take back over., as now if i remote in or ssh i get 
% Error in authentication.

I dont think so that i have seen , you can run commands from active to standby but i never seen the other way around , is there no one local on that site could pop the sup out slightly force the failover ?

thats what i am afraid of... noone is answering their phones or emails
