I would like to configure multiple dhcp servers on vlan 100 so that devices on vlan 200 are able to get an address if the primary DHCP server is down.
as far as I can tell, I cannot add multiple ip helper-address entries. Does anyone know of a workaround?
Thank you.

Hi Rob,
You can definetely add multiple ip helper-address command with DHCP server ip address under vlan interface.
The DHCP request will be fwded to all the configured DHCP servers and all will reply and then it depends on client to choose.

You should be able to add multiple ip helper addresses under each vlan if that is what you want.
I have done this primarily on 6500 and 4500 switches but i am not aware of any limitation on other hardware. What hardware are you using ?

Thanks. simple oversight on my part.. I didn't even think to simply type in the command again with a different address.
