Power Consumption Calculation

Hi,

 

Total output current for my customed C6807 is 37.85A @52V.

 

Now is this current value 37.85A will be minimized if it is @220V?

Hmm, not sure why it's showing 52V, but since wattage is volts times amps, as you increase the voltage you can decrease the amperage to obtain the same wattage.

I will consider the whole power supply wattage 3000watt/200v(worst phase)=15A

 

I got below from Cisco CPC notes:

  • The Catalyst 6807XL backplane power connectors for the linecards, fan trays and Supervisors operate at 52V.The power supplies take the power from the source and convert it into a 52V feed for these power connectors.
