Power does not return on if I disconnect the device on a error-disabled port of a WS-C3850-12X48U

Hi All,

I am using a 3850-12x48U. I am using dynamic arp inspection on its ports. The weird part is that whenever the ports go in an error-disabled state the power does not auto recover after 300 seconds if I disconnect the device and the port continues to be in error-disabled state until I manually shut-no-shut the port. I am running the latest code 03.07.03E.

I have opened a TAC case too but being the latest code haven't got much of help. These 3850 are pain BTW. :(

Hi,

Have you enabled errdisable recovery on the switch?

Thanks

John
