power supply installation

I am planning to install additional power supply for 4503 switches. I would like to know i can install the switch when switch its in operational.. ( i mean no need of shutdown)

Hi Kamal,

Yeah power supply are hot swappable on modular cisco switches. So you can go ahead and install power supply without powering down the switch.

Redundant mode and Combined mode
