Hi. one of power supply status in nexus 9336 showing absent while another supply status is ok. Not sure what could be possible cause of it. Does it mean power supply has fail OR supply is not inserted properly into slot and not detecting.
Please clear me here.

Hi,
Usually that means no PSU inserted. Try "sh env power" to get more details.

Also can you please confirm if I can remove power supply and insert it back while switch is running OR do I need to shutdown switch.
is it complete hot swappable? would it cause any issue if if do this when is switch up and running.

The PSUs are hot swappable (see link below), but if you can do it during a maintenance window, it is preferable.
