Priority Flow Control Support Question for Nexus 70X0

Hello:

According to this doc:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/datacenter/sw/5_x/nx-os/qos/configuration/guide/qos_pfc.html

PFC is supported on Nexus 70X0 switches as of code 5.1(1). However, I am running 5.1(3) in my network core, and when I enter "show interface priority-flow-control", while the switch will take the command, it returns no results. Also, PFC does not appear to be configurable on any of my interfaces. Also, my adjacent Nexus 5020s, which PFC appears to work fine, shows that they cannot negotiate PFC with the 7010s. Am I missing something here? Does this require explicit hardware on my 7010s?

Thanks,

Sean

I could be answering my own question, but does the LLDP feature need to be turned on for PFC support? I recall reading this somewhere, but the the doc mentioned above makes no reference of this.

This section applies only to the F1 module ports as per documentation.

I could see the PFC on F1 module, but not on M1 module.

show interface priority-flow-control
=====================================
Interface      Admin Oper
=====================================

port-channel11 Auto  Auto

Ethernet1/1    On    On
Ethernet1/2    Auto  Off

Yeah, I'm only running M1 modules. So, PFC support on the F1 modules only?

Yes, In the link you sent.
