I recently purchased a Cisco 881W router - however, I seem to be having some issues with it saving the running config. I configure the router and do either a copy run start or write mem, and on reboot it asks if I want to enter initial startup config again. I don't receive any errors during configuration or when I save (it confirms that it has saved the config) - any ideas or does this router require a special command to save the configuration?

Hi,
please have a look at your configured configuration-register. (Show Version )
Is it showing 0x2142 ?
0x2142 is for ignoring the saved configuration on startup. please change it to 0x2102 which meens : Use saved config at startup

Nailed it, changed the config register and now it saves the startup-config.
I set the wlan-ap0 to ip unnumbered, and when I try to configure the AP I get this:
zb881w#service-module wlan-ap0 session
Trying 192.168.1.254, 2002 ... Open
Then hangs. on the config documents it shows I should be getting an ap> prompt but I get nothing. Internet is working great but even after disconnecting and reconnecting my terminal session it seems like the console is hung - Ideas?
