I have a Cisco Catalyst 3850 running Everest 16.6.6. I have created one primary private-vlan and 2 secondary private-vlans. I have my section of quarantined machines on the secondary private-vlan that is set to isolated. I have the rest of the workstations set to the other secondary private-vlan that is set to community so they can all talk together. I have my servers set to promiscuous mode so they can talk to everyone. The servers are set this way so they can patch, scan, and update the machines in quarantine.
What I need to do now, is somehow make it so the native management vlan can talk to the community members of the private vlan. I need to be able to PuTTy into the switch while my machine sits in the community secondary private vlan. How do I make this happen or is it impossible?
