Hi everybody,
I have configured a monitor session on a Nexus5K and the result is:
Nx5k_1# sh monitor sess all
session 1
---------------
type : local
state : down (No operational src/dst)
source intf :
rx : Po110
tx : Po110
both : Po110
source VLANs :
rx :
source VSANs :
rx :
destination ports : Eth1/6
Legend: f = forwarding enabled, l = learning enabled
Does anybody know why it is not running? What means "No operational src/dst)"?
Configuration of destination interface:
interface Ethernet1/6
switchport monitor
Thank you very much!!!!

Hello,
Is both source Po110 and destination porte1/6 up? can you check the status of them.
If yes, can you please try appliying the same configuration for span once again?
Thanks
Madhu

Hello Madhukrishnan,
Yes, finally I found what was happening.... It was just the destination interface was not up because of the sfp... but when I configured it right (speed), interface got up and status came to a correct state. I forgot to explain what was happening and that now it is solved.
You were right about if it was the interface status... it was!
Thank you very much!!
