Hello, does anyone know if there will be problems if you have a Cisco switch (2960) with an SVI using 'proxy ARP' to it's gateway which resides on a Juniper EX3200 ?

i.e. are there compatibility issues with Proxy ARP between Cisco and Juniper ?

Hi,

proxy arp applies to the svi on the Cisco switch.  That should work fine and should not have anything to do with Juniper switch.

The main advantage of proxy ARP is that it can be added to a single router on a network and does not disturb the routing tables of the other routers on the network.

Proxy ARP must be used on the network where IP hosts are not configured with a default gateway or do not have any routing intelligence.
