We have CISCO nexus switch connected to cisco firepower . At firepower, for Eth1/4 ( VLAN 4) we have did public to public IP nating. ie 104.76.32.10 to 104.76.32.10( for example only
In this case Eth1/4 can communicate with other Eth/xx ports but can not able to ping 8.8.8.8 i.e can not communicate with outside network. On same VLAN4 if we NAT Eth 1/4(VLAN 4) in private to public ie. 192.168.32.10 to 104.76.32.10 ( for example) then it works properly ie able to ping other portsalso and able to ping 8.8.8.8 also
Note : on eEth 1/3 we have did same thing i.e. public to public NAT but it works fine i.e. it can ping 8.8.8.8 but when we do same for Eth 1/4 then above mentioned issue occures.
We have compare VLAN setting for VLAN 3 and VLAN 4 they are exactly identical no a little difference
Kindly guide us
