Q about peer links, Nexus 5000

I have 2 Nexus 5000 and they will be used along with HP22BP.  We ordered the FET-10G, and it seems to work with the HP22BP.

But we forgot to order SFP+ 10G SR module.  While waiting for these modules, and to continue the configuration, I understand that the FET-10G cannot be used as vPC peer links, but can I temporarily use 1Gb SFP until the 10gig SFP arrives?  Or can the FET-10G be used?

Cisco FET-10G can't be used for peer-link

The Cisco FET-10G Fabric Extender Transceiver support link lengths up to
100m on laser-optimized OM3 multimode fiber. It is supported on fabric
links only from a Nexus 2000 to a Cisco parent switch. Note this product
is not orderable individually. For more information refer to Nexus 2000
