QoS in 6500 supervisor 2t & 4500X ver 15

Hi

I hav todat the following config for ex, int 3560 switchar and 3750

Global:

mls qos

At the interface:

switcport mod access

auto qos voip trust

mls qos trust dsco

and also on other interface:

switchport mode trunk

mls qos trust dscp

auto qos voip trust

What commands should i use in 6500  sup.2T och 4500x with ver 15

too ge t same function?

it is not support with mls in these products

That is correct.  There is no more "mls qos" command with PFC-4 (Sup 2T).

try:

show auto qos default

and have a look at this document for all changes in Sup-2T qos architecture.

So you mean that i shall use the command

auto qos default

as a global command?

Does i need some command under the interface?

does the queueing  work?

I dont think that i can use trust dscp then the interface is a switchport, only then the port is a route port

but will it work all the same?

Hi,

With Sup-2T, the interfaces by default trust DSCP.

do a "show queueing interface gix/xx and look for

Trust state: trust DSCP

Trust state in queueing: trust COS

You cant use the command

show queueing interface gix/xx

Then it by  default trust DSCP,

Does i need to config a policymap under the interface?

What queue will it use if ?
