QoS not applied to all switchports but some work?

Hi all

I have a strange problem...... when we change a QoS policy on a 2960G switch then the QoS policy does not change on all switchports - the config changes but the marking does not ( I have confirmed this by wireshark packet traces and checking markings ) . Strangely this does work on some ports after the change but others not. A reload of the switch solves the problem and then all ports transmit ok with the correct markings .

The rumour is the QoS policy has to be removed and reapplied in a specific order for it to work properly and there may be some "ghosts" in memory.

Is there a "hidden" command to solve this problem or is it an order of application ?

We are not simply doing a trust dscp on the switchport but are applying a policy to mark packets on egress.

Any ideas ?
