qos tagging and dot1q trunking

Aloha All,

I did some research and found some possible partial answers but not a complete answer to the following question.  If you have a router with multiple direct vanilla FE (non trunked) interfaces on a switch trying to send QOS tagged packets to a wifi bridge several switches away does the trunking in the switched infrastructure mess with the qos tags if no qos is configured on the switches.

Does anyone know this?  Does it depend on the switch?  We have new 2960's running 12.2 and a few older 2950's running 12.1

Generally, if a Cisco switch's QoS is disabled, packet's ToS is passed as is.  If QoS is enabled, by default, switch will reset ToS to zero.
