QOS

Hi Experts,

i have the following topology 

internet ---- ASA ---- Router 2901-CME ---- Switch 2960 --- LAN

to insure the quality of Voice packets i need to  implemenet  a QOS

your advise where to set QOS ?

Hi,

You can deploy QOS on the switch, the router and possibly limited QOS on the firewall. Beyond these, for the Internet the providers usually don't deploy QOS.

Ideally everywhere.

Minimally, wherever there's congestion adverse to special traffic needs.

BTW, you diagram show the Internet, and generally the Internet does not support QoS.
