Question about CDP Neighbour output

I'm seeing some cdp neighbours off of my core switch that have multiple IP addresses (so, switch A has 192.168.0.21 and 192.168.0.22). Problem is, the vlan interface only has one IP address of 192.168.0.22. Where can the second IP address be coming from? Worse still, the first IP address off of that switch belongs to another switch in the network, so I have been having problems as a result. Can someoneone help?

More than likely they have the switches clustered together . Look in the config for cluster commands on those switches . One of the reasons I hate clustering .

That was exactly it, as a matter of fact (I found out a little after I posted.) What situation would a person want to set up a switch cluster for? What does it facilitate?
