Question about UDLD

I havent been able to obtain switches for my lab just yet, so i am unable to test. I am wondering when UDLD is enabled and there is a unidirectional failure, will the both switches put the port into errdisable and require that you recover the condition on both switches individually? Or does only one side go into errdisable with the other side simply in a down state?

The one that doesn't receive the "hello" will go into a err-disable state.

NOTE:  UDLD is recommended on fibre optic ports.  Never try to enable UDLD on copper ports.
