Hi everyone,
I just received a brand new Cisco ISR 4331 wich boots with " Error: Memory Init Failure"
It worked once after removing it from the box but today when I came up it was down with this error.
It's the first time I see such a strange error.
Is there a way to reset the router ?
Thank you for your help.

Hi,
since this is a new router and you already have memory issues, I recommend you open a ticket with TAC and RMA it.

Hi Reza,
Thank you for your reply, but I think it's bought from a well know hardware website with Hardware warranty but without Cisco TAC assistance.
I'm trying to understant how this router has been able to work yesterday and gives this error today.
Thank you.

Hello, I had this error on a 4331 as well which was brand new. The resolution was taking the cover off and removing the memory from the DIMM slots and reseating the memory sticks. This was done cautiously and with a ground to not damage the memory.

Hey buddies,

Please makesure the RAM is present on the motherboard of ISR or if it is installed then plz remove and insert it properly.
