Can you explain the issue?
06-20-2013 09:56 AM
Basically it reboots for no reason at random times. Don't see any issues with the switch however.

You are most likely hitting a bug. You may want to try loading 12.2(55) and test it.
Also, have a look at this post for more info;

thanks Reza. I guess it doesn't hurt to try different IOS at this point.

I'd check your power source. Sounds like the appliance reboots because your power source is unstable.

Exactly, even if you open a ticket with TAC, they will tell you to upgrade or downgrade.
Good Luck

I just noticed that this is a downgrade version. Do you know the reason why we want to downgrade? Is it more stable?
thanks

From what I have seen on the forum in the last few months and my own experience, there are still quite a few issues and bugs in IOS 15 that has not been resolved. One of them being high CPU utilization after upgrading to 15. So, I think, if you try the version I recommend and if it woks for you, you probably will be ok. Then you may want to think about IOS 15 in a few months. You can certainly try 150-2 and see how you like it and it may work just fine for you.

Glad to help. Let us know if loading a different image helps stabilize your switches. Hopefully, no more reboots right?
Thanks,
