We have some discussion in our department about receive queues.
What advantages could configuring the wrr-queue receive queues in conjunction with the transmit queues? All the devices in the network are configured with a transmit queueing mechanism with the same bandwidth ratio. Could adding the same ratio to the receive queues have any advantages?
All neighboring devices are giving the packets the same ratio in the transmit queue so it should be received at the exact same ratios on the receive queue of the other device. When would you use those receive queues?
