Recommended software for 4500X

Hi, which version would you recommend for using on 4500X switches - colleague have some issues when running 3.6.3E - tunneling is not working proprerly, there are some issues with etherchannel (I think on same version).

3.6.3E is the recommend IOS by cisco for 4500X series switches based on quality and stabilty.

Hi, I know, but collegaue has issues with this version. I'm asking if someone has experience configuring and maitaining those switches, especially configuring etherchannel and tunneling - what SW version are they running...
