Redundant Supervisor Engine WS-4507 problem

Hi!

Our WS-C4507R has two redundant Supervisor Engine (WS-X4516-10GE). One as an active Supervisor Engine and other is the redundant. A couple of days ago i observed the standby supervisor engine status LED is changing from green to red. When i console the switch the attached error message appeared. It seems the standby supervisor engine cannot established the connection with the active one. Is the problem caused by Hardware faulty? Thanks in advance for your solution.

Have you tried re-seating the standby supervisor?

If so and the error still occurs, I would try a new supervisor, if it still persists then, you might have a backplane issue.

What is the purpose to reseat the module? FYI i have reload the redundant supervisor engine with command "redundant reload peer" and when i console the the redundant, no error message appeared.
